Instagram Adds New Creative Tools in Reels and Stories

Instagram has added some new additions to your creative choices in both Reels and Stories, as well as tweaking some existing works to expand the roll with its branded content tag.

First, on the reels - as shared by social media expert Matt Navara, Instagram is adding new 'audio mix' and voice-over options to your reels creation tool.

Options enable users to add additional audio tracks - either through voice or music clips - to their reels clip, while it also provides audio level control to further edit your presentation. Tiktok has the same functionality, so it is not surprising to see that it also appears in the reels - which is definitely a copy of Tikolok.

You can access the new 'Mix Audio' and voice-over 'options by tapping the microphone at the top of the reels' composer screen.

Navara also noted that Instagram is now adding a 'reels' watermark to the upper part of your clip, which will ensure branding when the reels clip is re-shared.
